• “Software” means the plugin(s) and associated files, documentation, and assets purchased from NodeStories.
• “Licensor” means NodeStories, the owner and developer of the Software.
• “Licensee” (or “you”) means the individual who has purchased and is authorized to use the Software.
• “DaVinci Resolve” means the video editing application developed by Blackmagic Design Pty. Ltd., with which the Software is designed to operate.
• “License” means the right to use the Software as granted herein.
  
  

License Grant

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Software.

This license permits installation on up to 2 (two) devices that you personally own or control. All devices must be used solely by you.

This license is granted for personal and professional creative use only. It is tied to your account and email address and may not be transferred.

Permitted & Prohibited Uses

Restrictions

You expressly agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Software or any part thereof to any third party;
• Sell, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or otherwise transfer your rights to the Software;
• Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software;
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices in the Software;
• Use the Software to develop or create a competing product;
• Share your account credentials or download links with any other person;
• Use cracked, pirated, or unauthorized versions of the Software;
• Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law.
  
  

Ownership & Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership or intellectual property rights to you. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software — including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property rights — remain exclusively with NodeStories.

The Software is protected by copyright law and international copyright treaties.

Output files (videos, exports, renders) created using the Software remain your property. There is no royalty fee for commercial use of output created with licensed Software.

Installation & Activation

The Software requires a valid, licensed installation of DaVinci Resolve. It is your responsibility to ensure your system meets the minimum requirements specified on the product page prior to purchase.

Activation may require an internet connection and your account credentials. We reserve the right to implement license verification mechanisms to protect against unauthorized use.

Updates & Upgrades

Minor updates (bug fixes, compatibility patches) for the purchased version will be provided at no charge and made available through your account.

Major version upgrades may be offered at a discounted upgrade price. We are not obligated to provide updates or to maintain compatibility with future versions of DaVinci Resolve or operating systems, though we endeavor to do so.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time, in which case existing licensees may continue using the last available version.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability;
• Fitness for a particular purpose;
• Non-infringement;
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation;
• Compatibility with all systems, configurations, or DaVinci Resolve versions.

By accepting this Agreement, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to inspect the Software description and that it meets your requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall NodeStories be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business;
• Damage to systems or equipment;
• Cost of substitute products or services.

Our total liability for any claim under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software that is the subject of the claim.

Termination

This License is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically and without notice if you breach any term of this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession. Termination does not entitle you to any refund.

Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 of this Agreement survive termination.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Poland. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Warsaw, Poland.

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply.
